![]() Compatibility with all major web browsers and operating systems, mobile support, USB portability, phishing protection, and 24/7 customer support – these are some more benefits that show RoboForm Pro to advantage. One additional advantage is the online service called RoboForm Everywhere which is meant for synchronizing and backing up your information with the vendor’s servers, thus making it possible to use password management assistance no matter where you are when accessing secured web pages. Using this product is simple to the bone: the only thing you now do need to memorize is the Master Password – everything else will be done by RoboForm Pro immaculately and fast. This application is available in 30 languages and appears to be an incredibly convenient tool for creating complex passwords, encrypting and storing them reliably (along with logins as well as other personal details and credentials such as PINs and SSNs, credit card data, addresses, your friends’ contacts), and completely automating the login process and form filling when you need it. have tailored their effort to provide their own response to these issues – RoboForm Pro software. To ensure hassle-free password and login management and facilitate accomplishment of some wearisome online activities overall, Siber Systems, Inc. In the meanwhile, passwords are to be strong enough for third parties to fail figuring them out, and of course they need to be kept in a safe place and not be forgotten or lost. Authentication is required for pretty much every major web service you might use: webmail, social networking, online banking, shopping, IRC etc. This isn’t a metaphor – the online and real-world parts of one’s identity are blended to a sufficient extent nowadays for us to be able to make that sort of assertions. Namely, when they cancelled lifetime licences moving from v7 to v8, forcing everyone who owned them to either stay on an older version or switch to a subscription model, and recently, with the introduction of v9, they changed the look (and my favourite, ease of use) of the Chrome extension, and introduced bugs where it can't properly detect the fields on some sites, thus it can't save or fill the username/password.Passwords are pieces of you, ‘digitally’ speaking. In case anyone is wondering why I've been wanting to switch from Roboform, it's because there's been some issues with it over the years. Did I miss it? Did it get implemented in the past year? Or does it still not have it? In which case, is there a password manager that does? ![]() I tried Bitwarden about a year ago, and, unless I couldn't find the setting for it to do the same, it didn't have one. No need to re-enter my master password every time I reopen or switch browsers (which I do with some frequency). I use the desktop application, which I unlock with my master password when I start my PC, and it automatically unlocks all of its browser extensions (Chrome, Firefox, Edge.) and keeps them unlocked until I restart my computer (I can set a timer, but I don't, because only I use my PC). Here's where the magic of Roboform comes in, and what's keeping me from switching. My passwords are stored locally and I regularly back them up to a USB drive. I use Roboform purely as a password generator and manager (generate random, 20-character long passwords, store them, and auto-fill them when I tell it to) system-wide, so I don't care much about the sync/encryption/. The problem is that I can't find one that works as good as Roboform, ease-of-use-wise. ![]() I currently use Roboform, but I've been trying to switch to a different password manager on and off for several years now.
